World championship to commence in late February next year.
The provisional 2026 MXGP World Championship calendar has been released, featuring 20 rounds that will begin in late February and span through September next season.
Round one’s venue remains yet to be confirmed for February 22, before the series travels to Argentina on 8 March for the traditional South American stop.
Next year’s European campaign begins with Spain returning at Almonte on March 22, followed by Frauenfeld, Switzerland, on March 29 in the first back-to-back of the year. A familiar Italian double-header is next, with Riola Sardo (Sardegna) on April 12 and Pietramurata (Trentino) on April 19.
After a short pause, the championship resumes in Great Britain on May 10 at a venue to be announced, leading into a demanding triple-header through France (Lacapelle Marival, May 24), Germany (Teutschenthal, May 31), and Latvia (Kegums, June 7).
The European summer continues with Montevarchi, Italy, on June 21, followed by Agueda, Portugal, on June 28. After another brief break, July delivers a triple-header beginning with a TBC event on July 19, then Loket in the Czech Republic on July 26, and Lommel on August 2.
MXGP will then feature a northern swing with Uddevalla, Sweden, on August 16, and Arnhem, the Netherlands, on August 23, before the championship embarks on its decisive overseas phase.
A final triple-header will close out the season in September, with Turkiye (Afyonkarahisar) on September 6, China (Shanghai) on September 13, and Australia (Darwin) on September 20, setting up a spectacular conclusion to the 2026 MXGP season.
The 2026 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship (WMX) will span six rounds, beginning in Great Britain and continuing through France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, before once again concluding in Darwin.
